Sculpture

As part of my art practice I occasionally create sculptures – most of which are based on wire that is used to create a form – either animal or nature based. I use clay sculptured figures to interact with the horses in particular. On the mobile sculptures I use hand painted paper as well as small pieces of sea glass or collected pebbles. For me a big part of the fascination with these pieces are the shadows that they cast on a wall - creating a whole new drawing that is a fundamental part of the art work.
